LUMINOSITY team gather for annual meeting

May 9, 2025 Dresden, Germany

On 7–8 May 2025, the LUMINOSITY consortium came together to mark the successful completion of the first year of project implementation. The meeting was graciously hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Electron Beam and Plasma Technology (FEP) at their premises in Dresden, Germany. The event opened with warm welcoming words from Prof. Elizabeth von Hauff, Director of Fraunhofer FEP. To ensure inclusiveness and broad participation, the meeting was held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and remote attendees to engage fully in the discussions and collaborative sessions.

The meeting began with an overview of the project’s progress delivered by the coordinator Ilker Dogan. As the consortium reached Month 12, this gathering provided an ideal opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year. Partners shared key results that contribute to advancing flexible perovskite solar cell technology and aligned on upcoming milestones and next steps within the active work packages. Day one concluded with an inspiring tour of Fraunhofer FEP’s state-of-the-art laboratories, offering participants a closer look at the institute’s experimental facilities and their contributions to the LUMINOSITY project.

On the second day, attention turned to addressing ongoing challenges and exploring strategies for effective mitigation. Productive and open discussions took place during the sessions, with additional exchanges continuing informally throughout the event.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our colleagues at Fraunhofer FEP for their hospitality and seamless organisation and to all partners for their active participation and continued dedication.
