LUMINOSITY is part of a dynamic network of EU-funded projects working to advance the next generation of perovskite photovoltaic (PV) technologies. Through collaboration and knowledge exchange, the Perovskite PV Network is strengthening Europe’s research community and accelerating the development of innovative, sustainable solar energy solutions.

These projects are strategically aligned with the broader goals of the Horizon Europe programme, which aims to enhance PV efficiency and long-term sustainability, reinforce European innovation capacity and PV manufacturing leadership, support the large-scale deployment of next-generation PV technologies. At the core of this effort is a strategic and phased approach by the European Commission to develop, validate, and industrialise cutting-edge PV technologies. Therefore, the PV projects address the full innovation lifecycle — from materials research and stability/performance evaluation, to scaling up and pilot-line demonstration — thereby supporting the implementation of the EU Photovoltaic Innovation Roadmap and contributing to the Clean Energy Transition.
