On the road: Highlights from ISOS16

October 3, 2025 Genk, Belgium

The LUMINOSITY project closed September by participating in the 16th International Summit on Organic and Hybrid Perovskite Solar Cell Stability (ISOS16), held from 29 September to 1 October 2025 in Genk, Belgium.

Organised by EnergyVille and Hasselt University, ISOS16 brought together researchers and professionals from over 30 countries for several days of presentations, discussions, and networking — all dedicated to advancing the stability and performance of next-generation solar cell technologies.

Luminosity Contributions

Our team members actively engaged in discussions and shared insights from the LUMINOSITY project:

  • Roundtable Discussion: Project Coordinator Ilker Doğan chaired the session “Greenification of OPV/Perovskite Technology”, sparking valuable exchanges on sustainable pathways for emerging photovoltaic technologies.
  • Poster Award: A highlight of the event was Georgia Gkouzia (TNO) winning the Best Poster Prize. She presented recent LUMINOSITY results on flexible perovskite solar cells in her poster Long-Term Stability of Flexible Perovskite Solar Cells via Low-Temperature Encapsulation. Congratulations to Georgia on this remarkable achievement!
  • Expert Talk: As one of the conference sponsors, Frederik Krebs (Infinity PV CEO) delivered a presentation on roll-to-roll coating of perovskite solar cells, showcasing IPV’s advanced solar cell characterization equipment and technological expertise.

We thank the ISOS community for hosting such an inspiring and collaborative event, and we look forward to continuing these valuable exchanges in the future. More about the event: ISOS16 – EnergyVille
