LUMINOSITY Featured in OPE Journal

The latest issue of OPE Journal, a globally recognized magazine focused on the organic and printed electronics industry, features an insightful article titled “Enabling the Next Generation of Solar Energy.”

The article spotlights the advancements driven by the LUMINOSITY project, with a special focus on the innovative research carried out by our project partner, Fraunhofer FEP.

Fraunhofer FEP is exploring the potential of its anodic arc evaporation process for application in perovskite photovoltaics. This unique technique employs a specialized electron source—known as hollow cathode arc discharge—and offers significant advantages in precisely tuning layer parameters across a range of materials. By combining evaporation with plasma processes, Fraunhofer FEP enables highly customized thin-film coatings essential for next-generation solar technologies.
